Weather Updates:

Due to inclement weather, several Harnett County departments and services have been affected. Please see the following updates:

• Harnett County Offices: Offices will open at 10:00 a.m. (two-hour delay) on Friday, February 21, 2025.

• Harnett County Courthouse: The courthouse will remain closed on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

• Landfills and Convenience Sites: All landfills and convenience sites are closed on Thursday, February 20, 2025, with the exception of the Anderson Creek and Dunn-Erwin locations, which will remain open.

• Harnett County Public Libraries: All Harnett County Public Libraries will close at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025. The Anderson Creek Library will be closed.
• Tax Prep: VITA tax preparation at the Main Library in Lillington will not be available today Thursday, February 20, 2025. Services will resume next week on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
• Parks and Recreation: Open Gym at the Boone Trail Community Center & Socca Tots at the Benhaven Community Center for Thursday, February 20, 2025 have been cancelled/postponed
