Authorization

The Harnett County Board of Commissioners have created this Committee which shall ensure an accountability and consistent process for applying, reviewing, and approving the financial requests of nonprofits within the County of Harnett. In addition, the Committee will enable nonprofits within the County of Harnett to further the mission of the County, improving the qualiaty of life for all citizens.

Function

The Committee shall have the power to approve or deny requests for funding. This approval/denial of funding will be a result of nonprofit successfully completing the application process, along with providing all information necessary that is asked on the application

Regular meetings can be held between March 1 and March 31, meetings can be a frequent as needed in order to compile recommendations to the County Manager.

Must be able to meet the entire month of March as needed.
