Thursday, February 27, 2025
Harnett County Board of Commissioners Brooks Matthews (District 3) and Duncan Eddie Jaggers (District 4) will be hosting a Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Angier Depot, located at 19 W. Depot Street Angier, NC 27501.
The Town Hall meeting will be offered in person only.
Commissioner Matthews was elected to serve on the Harnett County Board of Commissioners in 2020. He has over 40 years of experience in education.
“We encourage residents to join us for our upcoming Town Hall meeting. This is an opportunity for residents to share their thoughts and engage in meaningful discussions with us,” said Commissioner Matthews.
The Harnett County Town Hall meeting will provide community members with a valuable opportunity to engage directly with local leadership, ask questions, and gain insight into key priorities. Topics of focus will include taxes, growth, and future school plans.
Commissioner Jaggers was elected to serve on the Board in 2024. Jaggers retired from the Harnett County Sherriff's Office after 30 years of service in law enforcement.
“As the newest Commissioner on the board, I’m excited to connect with more residents, listen to their concerns, and share my vision and priorities for our community,” said Jaggers.
