Board of Equalization and Review (BER)
All appeals are reviewed by our staff prior to scheduling Board of Equalization and Review hearings. We will conduct office reviews and, if needed, site reviews based on the information provided on your review request or appeal form. Please sign, date and provide a daytime phone number. Reviews may or may not result in a change in value. Please be aware that if any inaccuracies in assessment are discovered in a review, it could result in increases or decreases in value. After our review, you will receive notification of the results and if you still do not agree with the value, you may appeal to the Harnett County Board of Equalization and Review.
