In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, Harnett County offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28, 2025. Offices will resume normal operations on Monday, December 1, 2025.

The playground at Anderson Creek County Park will be closed for the installation of a NEW PLAYGROUND from December 1, 2025 through January 1, 2026.

The Cape Fear River Trail Park restrooms in Erwin will be closing for winterization on Mon, Dec 1, 2025. They will re-open on March 2, 2026.

The Dunn-Erwin Rail Trail will be undergoing mulching to remove overgrown vegetation encroaching on the trail beginning Mon, Nov 17, 2025 and will run for approximately 2-3 weeks. During this period there may be certain sections of trail that are closed.
